Marie's extensive dental network developed through her professional career in dental education brings community and relationships to the forefront of our business.
Marie Baudek has been involved in Dentistry for over 40 years. She began her career at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1976 as an instructor in the Dental Auxiliary Utilization (DAU) Program. She then spent three years as a community program specialist coordinating the externship program for dental assisting students before being appointed associate director of continuing dental education in 1989. In this position, she was instrumental in helping to build the reputation of the program into one of national prominence, along the way earning a master’s degree in adult education and doing double-duty as director of alumni affairs for five years. In 2012, she was named director of the continuing dental education and served in this capacity until retiring from the University in March 2017.
Marie’s love of dentistry and missing personal interactions with the many dental health professionals she befriended throughout her career brought her out of retirement to join the Minnesota Practice Transitions team. She looks forward to helping dentists in all phases of their careers meet their practice transition goals.
